Snap became a very common word around our household, mostly by our daughter. I then started hearing other kids and people on t.v. saying it. I just thought to my self, “there’s another new kid lingo I’m gonna have to get use to.”  Teenagers would use words like “tight” meaning that is cool. I had to ask about that one too. So one day while I was standing in my kitchen cooking dinner, I heard my daughter say, ”Snap”, I can’t find my science book. I told her I was going to put that word on a shirt for her to wear. She said, “Yeah right”.

   We have always instilled in our children to have big dreams, goals to get you to these dreams, and positive thinking and actions to have success with those dreams.  Anyone, no matter where you are in life or where your are from can accomplish anything you choose to accomplish in your life. I am a simple country girl that was raised on a farm in Arkansas, who has always had big dreams and just knew some how I could accomplish them. I did not come from money nor did I or any of my family attend college. We were just hard working, caring people.

    I believe as a parent we should have actions to back up our teaching to our children. So, as luck would have it, I found a slide in a box of my husbands’ old stuff that was a picture of the word ”Snap” that he had free handed in art class years ago. We did not change it at all, we simply put it on the shirts and people loved them. From teenagers to adults. And the rest is history. I started the blog to interact with people about there lives dreams and goals and where they are at. This has become a family biz and we are loving it. I plan on coming out with other clothing that have other lingo that kids and young adults use, (only decent) but “Snap” will always be our signature lingo clothing line.
