As you may be able to see, we are just starting our blog. We are newbies in the world of blogging, so please bare with us as we start out on this new venture. Learning the art and technicalities of blogging can be very challenging to say the least. The plan is to make this a fun and interactive experience with lots of input as to how we can improve.

It all started when our daughter came home from school at 15 years of age saying “snap” as a better choice word for s?#t. It has become a word for everyone around our house during moments of frustration and annoyances. Don’t get us wrong, our kids don’t walk around cursing and kicking the dogs. However, they do hear a lot of cursing among teenagers and adults these days and see unpleasant messages on shirts.

We firmly believe in the freedom of speech, but we would like to see our world clean up the negative messages that are sent out to everyone on a daily basis through media, radio, magazines and clothes.

Our goal is to build people up through positive messages. If we can kindly replace curse words than we can think of ways to get our point across without offending others. We hope you will join us in our efforts to create a more inspiring world in which we live.

As “snap” has become the chosen word among teenagers and young adults, we decided to put it on some t-shirts, hoodies and tank tops. The response has been great and positive from kids to older adults, loving the shirts, the idea, and the lingo. Their comments and ideas have been positive and inspiring. The best part is that everyone has fun with it and it gets them to start thinking and using a more positive attitude in their lives daily. After all, it is what we hear, see, and surround ourselves with that we will become and pass on to others.
